About the show
"Pop off, Michelangelo!" is set in a reimagined 16th-century Italy. This "gloriously unhinged musical" (WhatsOnStage) chronicles the artistic rivalry of two childhood best friends turned enemies.
When Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci discover they're both gay, they battle for divine forgiveness and title of world's greatest religious artist. "RuPaul's Drag Race" star Michael Marouli dazzles as the Pope in this queer-coded theatrical spectacle.
