About the show
"Inala" (meaning "abundance of goodwill" in Zulu) brings together Soweto Gospel Choir and the Rambert Dance Company to deliver a fusion of South African and Western music and dance live on stage.
Performed by a company of 36 dancers, singers and musicians, the performance blends visceral dance with the intricate rhythms of Zulu tradition. The London Evening Standard included it in its list of the best dance shows to see this year. The show features live music from the Soweto Gospel Choir, whose album "Freedom" won the 2019 Grammy Award for Best World Music Album, and who have featured on the Grammy Award-winning "Baba Yetu" and the Oscar-nominated "Down to Earth", written by Peter Gabriel for Pixar's "WALL-E".
