About the show
"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is the eighth story in the JK Rowling series. The play is set 19 years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It follows the eponymous wizard—now a Ministry of Magic employee, husband, and father. Albus Severus Potter, Harry's son, is soon to enrol at the legendary Hogwart's School. Expect a mind-blowing race through time, spectacular spells, and a battle to stop mysterious forces.
The production has become the most awarded play in history. The 2017 Olivier Awards saw the show break records with 11 nominations and nine wins. Among the awards were Best New Play and Best Director. The show was written by Bafta-, Tony-, and Olivier-Award winner Jack Thorne. It was directed by Olivier- and Tony-Award winner John Tiffany.
