About the show
"An Officer and a Gentleman The Musical" follows the story of Zack Mayo, a trainee navy jet pilot from a broken home. Starting his journey in the naval base and required to abide by strict rules set by his drill instructor, Zack must be mentally and physically strong enough to become a navy officer, whilst avoiding the entrapment from local girls aspiring to marry one. Zack and his recruit friend Sid ignore the warnings and start dating, and what follows is a story of heartbreak, betrayal, and a love that defies all odds.

The musical is based on the 1982 movie which was nominated for a number of Oscars, winning Best Original Song for "Up Where We Belong". In this jukebox musical, you can hear '80s favourites including "Kids In America", "Heart of Glass", "Alone", and "Material Girl".
