About the musical
40 years ago, Bob Geldof and Midge Ure organised the biggest charity music event to date. The two-venue—held in London and Philadelphia—concert was tuned into by more than1.9 billion viewers. "Just For One Day: The Live Aid Musical" goes behind the scenes to reveal how music united the world and how its legacy lives on today. Featuring songs from Queen, Elton John, David Bowie, The Daily Telegraph says this "hit-filled musical will fill you with nostalgia". The score is directed by famed Luke Sheppard ("& Juliet", "Starlight Express") and the script from John O'Farrell ("Mrs. Doubtfire").
