Itinerary
Spend your first night on your luxurious ship in Bordeaux. Your week-long cruise will call at:

  • Libourne… bask in the sunshine on the top deck as you cruise into this 13th-century port. It is the departure point for excursions to Saint-Émilion. This Medieval village is a UNESCO World Heritage site surrounded by a beautiful wine region.
  • Blaye… take a walk through this picturesque village and see one of France's largest citadels. In the evening you could attend a classical concert at an ancient château in the nearby countryside.
  • Fort Médoc… admire aristocratic mansions as you drive to a local vineyard in the world-famous Médoc region—tasting included.
  • Bourg… see an impressive collection of horse-drawn carriages at Bourg Castle, or cycle through quaint villages along the Dordogne river.
  • Cadillac-sur-Garonne… don't miss the Ducal Castle, in the centre of town. Its magnficient vestiges are open for visitors, and it was once the epitome of 17th-century high-society living.

You'll return to Bordeaux for your last night aboard the ship. There will be ample time to explore the city famed for its elegant 18th-century architecture, and a thriving culinary scene using fresh local produce.
