Itinerary

  • Vienna... is home to lavish palaces and stately boulevards. Explore the Austrian capital on an included tour. See the ornate Austrian Parliament Building and St Stephen’s Cathedral with its Gothic architecture.
  • Krems... this stop is the gateway to the Wachau Valley. The town’s landmark sight is the 15th-century Steiner Tor, a Baroque square gate tower. A walking tour is included, as well as a visit to Göttweig Abbey. This building was founded in 1083 by the Bishop of Passau. You'll cruise the UNESCO-listed landscape of the Wachau Valley on your way to Linz.
  • Linz... is known for its cutting-edge cultural scene and its futuristic Ars Electronica Center technology museum. It also has a contrasting quaint Old Town with cobblestone streets and independent boutiques.
  • Passau... sits at the confluence of three rivers—the Ilz, the Danube, and the Inn. You could visit the Bishop's Palaces or the Baroque St Stephen's Cathedral. The latter is home to the largest church organ in the world.
  • Regensburg... has been a religious centre since the 7th century and has numerous medieval churches. You'll find Romanesque and Gothic architecture in its old town. Enjoy an included walking tour in the morning, and explore at leisure in the afternoon.
