Itinerary
After you arrive in Ushuaia, Argentina, you will be transferred to the ship. Your first two days on board will be spent crossing the Drake Passage.

The first landing will be in the South Shetland Islands. A string of glaciated islands and rocks at the northernmost tip of the Antarctic Peninsula. They offer the opportunity to see penguins in their natural habitat. Deception Island offers the chance to see a former whaling station destroyed by volcanic eruption. Others hold research stations and more historical marvels.

Further down the Antarctic Peninsula you'll discover more majestic scenery and wildlife. Explore huge glaciers and icebergs with a Zodiac cruise through Cierva Cove. Some islands, like Cuverville and Danco, offer the chance to walk among thousands of penguins. You can also hike to the top of the island amid the snow. Conditions may direct you into the sheltered cove of Paradise Bay. Here, you'll discover active research stations perched on the edge of mountains. Look out for seals basking in the snow or frolicking humpback whales.

Head back north through the Drake Passage to return to Ushuaia. Once you've disembarked, you will be transferred back to the city centre or airport.

Note: all landings and excursions are dependent on conditions at the time.
