About your stay in Rome
You'll get one hotel night before your train journey and four nights afterwards. Two full-day city tours are included, covering sights throughout the Vatican City.
About La Dolce Vita Orient Express
Travel + Leisure anticipates this will be "the most luxurious train journey in the world". Overnight journeys run around £3,700 per person—but passengers certainly experience the sweet life.
On this itinerary, travel from Rome to Montalcino, in Tuscany, and back again. You'll chug through lyrical landscapes and arrive in the afternoon at the hilltop town of Montalcino. You'll tour the city, then visit a Brunello vineyard for a wine-tasting session.
