Why We Love This Deal

The first voyage goes to the tropical north of Australia, and the second does a full loop around New Zealand. You’ll spend over three weeks living on a luxury ship, and you'll save over £1200 on the cost of packaging it all up yourself.

What's included

  • Return flights, with 23kg baggage
  • All transfers and baggage porterage
  • Two nights at the Mercure Sydney (or similar), in a Standard Room, with breakfast
  • A 23-night voyage on Celebrity Edge, in an Interior Stateroom

For more information, see our partner's website.

The first cruise takes you from Sydney to the tropical far north of Queensland, calling at:

  • Brisbane, the sophisticated city hot on the heels of Sydney.
  • Airlie Beach, the gateway to the stunning Whitsunday Islands.
  • Cairns, where you'll stay overnight for optional tours to the Great Barrier Reef.
  • Port Douglas, near the hugely diverse rainforest at Daintree National Park.

Afterwards, you'll stay on the ship to sail over to New Zealand, so you can also see:

  • The glacier-carved valleys of Fiordland National Park.
  • The South Island cities of Dunedin and Christchurch.
  • The North Island cities of Tauranga and Auckland.
  • The beautiful beaches of the Bay of Islands.

Ship details
Celebrity Edge is one of Celebrity Cruises' newer and most advanced Edge-class ships. Cruise Critic calls it "one of the most unusual and appealing cruise ships we've seen in a decade", and adds that "those who appreciate stylish, contemporary design will fall in love".

The ship is designed to feel just like a 5-star hotel, and is full of lush greenery, complete with an immersive rooftop garden and metallic trees for performers to perch in. It was also the first ship to debut the Magic Carpet—a moveable deck with a bar, where you can get out onto tenders or just relax with great views.

There are 15 dining venues overall, and four are included in the cruise fare, including French, Tuscan, and Greek specialities. Myriad bars are included on your all-inclusive package, including the iconic Eden bar, full of live plants. The theatre is "one of the most high-tech spaces you'll find at sea" (Cruise Critic).
