Cherry blossom season is hard to predict this far in advance, but normally falls from mid March to early April. Blooms are celebrated for their fleeting beauty, and only last around two weeks.

Itinerary
You'll kick off the trip with two nights in Singapore. Experience this high-spirited city state, described as "one of Asia's top destinations" by Lonely Planet. There's a plethora of Buddhist temples, Arab bazaars, Victorian hotels, and modern malls to explore.

After two nights, you'll board Celebrity Millennium for a 13-night cruise, calling at:

• Ho Chi Minh City… formerly known as Saigon, it is the largest city in Vietnam. Visit chaotic markets and admire French colonial architecture. Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, the Mekong Delta, and The War Remnants Museum for a day trip. The Ho Thi Ky Flower Market is a true treat for the senses. 
• Nha Thrang… there are many hip beach bars in this beautiful coastal town. It's renowned for its endless beaches and serving-up all kinds of seafood delights. This place is teeming with marine life and has more sunny days than anywhere else in Vietnam. Among the shore excursions available are trips to surrounding villages, bike tours, and river cruises.
• Hong Kong… expect incredible cuisine, limitless shopping, buzzing bars, and cultural diversity fused together in this city. A place where "lights never dim on one of the world's most impressive skylines" (Fodor's).
• Keelung... take a stroll through the streets filled with traditional Taiwanese architecture, temples, and bazaar shops. The renowned Miaokou Night Market is known for its delectable array of fresh seafood. Enjoy oyster omelettes and braised pork rice at this food lover's paradise.
• Kagoshima… It boasts magnificent views over the bay and nearby volcano, Sakurajima. It is one of the most beautiful places in Japan. Anyone seeking an insight into the past will enjoy exploring the old samurai neighbourhoods of the city.
• Yokohama… offers a slower pace of life, jazz clubs, microbreweries, a trendy art scene, and laidback bay location.

You'll disembark the Celebrity Millennium in Tokyo and transfer to your hotel. Over the next three days, discover the Japanese capital. A full-day at Mount Fuji includes a boat along Lake Ashi, the Hakone Ropeway Cable Car, and high-speed bullet train back to Tokyo. This cruise concludes in Tokyo.
