Ship details
Nieuw Statendam is one of Holland America Line's newer ships. It launched in 2018 and carries 2666 passengers. Cruise Critic says it is "perfect for the modern cruiser", though it has not abandoned its traditional roots.

Holland America Line is famous for its music, and there are some brilliant live performances—even the quieter spaces come alive at night. There are venues to hear rock, pop, jazz, classical, and blues music. The line is partnered with Rolling Stone, and you'll hear great covers in the Rock Room, the newest venue on the Music Walk. 

Food is another highlight. A huge Amsterdam-style caf that pays homage to the cruise line's Dutch heritage. Holland America Line also offers a complimentary all-day room service menu.
