Walk the streets of Dublin, Liverpool, and Edinburgh, and admire breathtaking scenery of Orkney and the Scottish Highlands. This holiday from Iglu Cruise costs £959 per person and saves up to £200 on regular prices.
A 9-night cruise aboard Norwegian Star, in an Inside Stateroom, with full board, covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
Depart from Southampton on 14 May, 2021.
Set sail from Southampton aboard Norwegian Star and arrive to Dublin after a day at sea. Wander the pretty Georgian streets in the city centre, see illuminated manuscripts in the halls of Trinity College, and enjoy a pint of the Black Stuff in the cobbled old quarter, Temple Bar.
Further on, drop anchor in Liverpool, a "vibrant city with a Tate Gallery of its own, a series of innovative museums and a fascinating social history" (Rough Guides).
Continue the voyage on Scottish waters, where you'll stop at Greenock on the beautiful west coast, close to Glasgow and old castle ruins; the Orkney archipelago famed for its Viking heritage, ancient standing stones, and spectacular scenery; and Invergordon, which is a starting point for excursions to the stunning Scottish Highlands.
Your final port of call, before returning to Southampton, will be Edinburgh, "one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, draped across a series of rocky hills overlooking the sea" (Lonely Planet). Walk by the picturesque jumble of medieval tenements along the Royal Mile on your way to the fortress-like Edinburgh Castle, or visit the cafés and shops of bustling New Town, known for its neat grid of streets lined with Neoclassical buildings.
