- Hamburg, Germany... this stop is known for its hip bars and excellent foodie scene. Lonely Planet calls it "one of the coolest cities on Earth". Browse trendy boutiques and devour sweets in a café in the Karolinenviertel neighbourhood. Or, take in panoramic city views from the wrap-around balcony at the Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall.
- Copenhagen, Denmark... you could visit Tivoli Gardens, the city's beautiful 180-year old amusement park. Or, wander the canals to see the colourful harbour houses along the water.
- Oslo, Norway... check out the Norwegian capital's many museums and art galleries. The Guardian says the city's "arts and culture are now among the world’s best". Tuck into hearty stews and delicious Norwegian dumplings at some of the city's eateries. Or, discover bohemian bars and designer boutiques in the Grünerløkka neighbourhood.
- Amsterdam, Netherlands... the Netherlands' capital is known for its winding waterways and beautiful, quirky buildings. Spend time in a cosy cafe, or perusing one of the excellent museums. You could hire a bike for an easy way to explore the canals.
