Itinerary
Your week-long voyage departs from and returns to Southampton, calling at:
- Brest, France… learn about maritime history at the National Navy Museum in the Medieval Château de Brest, or pay a visit to the National Botanical Conservatory.
- Lisbon, Portugal… savour some pastéis de natas as you wander through narrow cobbled streets in the Alfama district, or head up to São Jorge Castle and enjoy stunning views over the city.
- Vigo, Spain… soak up the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at one of the city's many tapas bars and take in views over the scenic bay from the 17th-century hilltop Castro Fortress.
- Cherbourg, France… head to the old town for traditional crêperies and regional cuisine, or visit La Cité de la Mer aquarium.
You'll have two full days at sea when you can take advantage of onboard facilities.
About the ship
A ship as large as MSC Virtuosa is a destination in itself. Cruise Critic editors rate it 5/5, and there are plenty to keep everyone entertained. Its state-of-the-art facilities include five swimming pools, and an aqua park with three waterslides. There are two Formula 1 simulators, and a Broadway-style theatre. You could also spend your time hopping between the karaoke bar, comedy club, and casino.
Meals and drinks are all included. There are a total of 10 restaurants (speciality venues incur a supplement). Some of the 21 bars have outdoor space with panoramic views. The MSC Starship Club has a futuristic bar with 3D holograms. A one-of-a-kind robot bartender makes custom drinks and signature cocktail there.
