Itinerary
This fortnight's voyage aboard P&O Cruises Iona departs from and returns to Southampton, calling at:
- Vigo… sample delicious seafood paella, visit the Art Museum, or head to the 17th-century hilltop Castro Fortress for awe-inspiring views over the coastline.
- Gibraltar… enjoy a pub lunch of fish and chips in exotic surroundings complete with Barbary monkeys.

About the ship
With a maximum capacity of over 5,000 passengers, P&O Cruises Iona is the largest cruise ship ever built for the UK market, and Cruise Critic says it has "the feel of a lively but classy floating resort".
Onboard facilities include a 4-screen cinema, a gym, a spa, a library, two infinity pools, 18 Jacuzzis, and a 2-storey theatre that puts on large-scale productions. The SkyDome is a swimming pool and lounging area by day, and by night, it transforms into an entertainment space with aerial performers and DJ sets.
There are over 30 drinking and dining outlets, including four main dining rooms. Speciality options (supplements apply) include a steakhouse, a wine bar and tapas restaurant, and the Epicurean fine dining restaurant.
