Itinerary

  • Falmouth... see the sandy beaches that stretch long the Cornish coastline. Admire the picturesque network of creeks and rivers here. You could visit St. Michael's Mount, the scenic Lizard Peninsula, and the world-famous Eden Project.
  • Stornoway... this thriving town sits on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. Visit the impressive Lews Castle, built in 1847. It's grounds are filled with beautiful woodland.
  • Kirkwall... the Orkneys archipelago, north of mainland Scotland, is made up of around 70 islands. Kirkwall is their capital, and makes a great base for exploring. This area has a history dating back to the Stone Age.
  • Cruise by Dutchman's Cap... you'll finish with some scenic cruising on your way back to Southampton. Otherwise known as Bac Mòr, this sight is one of the Scottish Treshnish Isles. These were formed 60 million years ago thanks to volcanic eruptions.
  • Cruise by Fingal's Cave... this basalt sea-cave looms 69 metres out of the ocean. Admire its remarkable symmetry—it looks rather like a contemporary art piece. You can often spot native seabirds on its cliffs—look out for puffins and razorbills.
