Independence of the Seas is jam-packed with entertainment and activities. There's a 2-deck Broadway-style theatre, an ice arena, laser tag, and a casino. Daily activities include bingo, art auctions, trivia, arts and crafts, wine tastings, and dance classes. Or, if you just want to unwind, you can book a treatment at the spa. You could also relax by one of the four pools (one of which is adults-only). There will be a cocktail party and a themed viewing party on this Eurovision cruise.
There are over a dozen restaurants onboard. Cruise critic says the 3-deck dining room "harks back to the classic days of cruising". All your meals are included here, plus at a cafeteria and a pizzeria. Speciality dining options include Japanese hibachi and a 1950s-style diner. There are seven bars and lounges on board for after-dinner drinks and entertainment.
Itinerary
You'll sail from Southampton onboard Independence of the Seas. Take advantage of your ships plentiful facilities as you sail for three nights. The vessel will take you to Zeebrugge, where you'll dock for the day, and back. This Belgian port is perfect for a day trip to Bruges. This picture-perfect Medieval city is often referred to as The Venice of the North. Admire its winding canals and wander cobbled streets. You could sample one of 300 Belgian beers in the ever popular ’t Brugs Beertje pub.
