JW Marriott Marquis Miami is a 5-star hotel in downtown Miami, Florida. It's within a mile of Miami Convention Center, and around 15 minutes' drive from South Beach.
It has a heated rooftop swimming pool, a full-service spa and four restaurants, some with river views. Sports facilities include NBA-approved basketball court, an indoor golf school, virtual bowling and more (additional supplements apply).
Travelzoo tip: While you're in the area, take a short stroll from Bayfront Park to Biscayne Boulevard. You'll be able to see artwork from several contemporary artists on Miami's palm-fringed port, and Bayside Marketplace has some great open-air restaurants.
On the second day, you'll board Disney Magic for a 5-night Caribbean cruise. The ship has a large theatre which hosts live musical entertainment, nightly open-air dance extravaganzas and a large cinema screening Disney classics every day. There are also some surprise Disney characters aboard, whom you can meet at daily autograph sessions and kids' clubs.
Other facilities include three restaurants, three freshwater swimming pools, an adults-only nightclub and a full-service spa.
The first port of call will be Cozumel, a Mexican island praised by Lonely Planet for its "spirited Caribbean energy". Here, you can lounge on pristine beaches, potter around pretty town squares or explore Mayan ruins -- be sure to try the food, too, as lots of Yucatan specialities are available in local restaurants. Our favourite is tikin-xic, a fish dish cooked in sour orange sauce and wrapped in a banana leaf.
The next port is Castaway Cay, a private island in the Bahamas reserved exclusively for Disney guests. It has a floating waterpark, a snorkelling lagoon and supervised games for children. There's also an adults-only beach with a cabana massage, a barbeque station and an oceanfront bar.
- Infants under 3 can travel from £270
- Children aged 3-12 can travel from £425
- Children aged 13-17 can travel from £465
See Tour Center’s website for more information on children’s prices.
