We arrived early and the hotel offered early check in for $60 but we declined and left our luggage with baggage storage and headed out to start our day. Hotel is in good location for Time Square and very walkable. Also close to the hop on hop off tour bus stop as we did that on a cool and rainy NYC morning.

No, I cannot say one positive thing about this hotel.

The hotel lobby was extremely small and crowded. The rooms were extremely small and uncomfortable. My suitcase barely fit and when I put it on the luggage rack, it was hard to open the room door. My suitcase is not large. It is medium size. My television didn’t work the entire time I was there and asked them to fix it. The rooms are not sound proof at all. I heard people in their rooms all night and early morning. Had to call the front desk at 2 am and nothing was done. They charged a $60 early check in fee and then a $50 AN HOUR late check out. I have NEVER in my life experienced that at any hotel. I travel all the time and have stayed at hotels like the Beverly Hills Hotel and Plaza Athenee and so many in New York that has never charged anything for early or late check in/out. I would never go back to this hotel and extremely disappointed.

The rooms were small, but a good size for a NYC hotel. Especially since they had two queens (instead of two doubles). Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Your offer stated that we were booking a room with two queen beds but on arrival learned the hotel has no rooms with two queen beds. The hotel could not do anything about that. They also did not do any housekeeping to our room.

Location, location, location! We had a great weekend! The rooms a small like but not a small has the rooms in Hong Kong. Dear Irving rooftop bar is a must visit while staying here. The staff was great and room was clean. The only thing that did not match the booking was the water provided in our room was not Fiji....lol but we will live.
