We had a warm welcome on arrival on a very cold day. We sat by the fire in the bar which was great. Fairly busy but nice atmosphere. Food was good. service

This was a ladies reunion, we had a most enjoyable afternoon chatting and reminiscing about old times, and the hotel is riht by Colwall station so no driving either!

Although the building is old & has character ,we did not find it very enticing ,stuck in a cold back room ,sandwiches quite basic & bland & the supposedly offer price was not a great offer on reflection.

The afternoon tea was lovely and very well presented with a good selection of cakes and sandwiches. The scones were particuarly delicious and the hotel was very welcoming. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Really Warm welcome, nicely laid out table on arrival. Staff were really attentive and the Prosecco was wonderfully refreshing. The food from the sandwiches to the wonderful scones and cakes were perfect. All rounded off with nice Tea / Coffee. A really relaxed afternoon.
