A lovely warm welcome, straightforward booking in, a spotlessly clean warm welcoming room with everything to our satisfaction. Meals and service were above our expectations. A big thank you to all the staff for their interest in us and their pride in the hotel.

Saltmarshe hall is a beautiful Georgian country house and from first arriving everything was fabulous, the setting near the river Ouse and miles of green countryside
It was warm and beautifully decorated for Christmas with trees in the main rooms,
Bedroom warm clean and spacious
The breakfast was 10 out of 10, with local produce and well served and presented.
Would highly recommend for romantic break, and will return.

A Georgian Mansion in the countryside set in lovely parkland. Greeted by attentive staff staying in a comfortable room. Lovely old patina to the place. Meals were excellent. You could tell they were individually prepared to a high standard. Staff very professional, attentive and friendly. A nice experience all round.

We had a wonderful time from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond. We tried to pay for 3 coffees, and they said it was taken care of. The room was great and the grounds snd situation magnificent. A bonus of amazing weather made this one if thd best djort breaks we have ever had

Beautiful setting by the River Ouse. Lovely walking by the river but Howden the nearest town was disappointing. Beverley is delightful.

Absolutely stunning hotel and location. No Spa at the moment but plans are in place. Heated outdoor pool in beautiful walled garden. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning!

The road to Saltmarshe Hall is very narrow not wide enough for two cars. The hotel is nice and staff exceptional. We didn't like the room allocated to us so was shown alternative room which was lovely Yokefleet. Food was good but not a large selection. Enjoyed our stay.

Booked a night at Saltmarshe Hall as a birthday treat for my partner. Never been to that part of Yorkshire, but the hall's location was perfect for us, as it was quietly situated deep in the countryside. The room we were booked into was lovely, but rater chilly, so they kindly upgraded us to a 1st floor suite with lovely views. Our 3-course meal was delicious and nicely presented. My partner was delighted with the whole experience.
