The staff at this Hotel is the strong point, reception and waiting staff are the best I’ve ever come across, so friendly and helpful but in a very warm way. The room was lovely and every thing you could wish for, bed linen and towels excellent, bathroom could do with a tidy up with the silicon!

Great hotel in a perfect location, right in the square. There’s only a small car park but if you can’t get in you can park in the pay and display next door and the hotel will reimburse you. Staff are a credit to the hotel. They are friendly, professional and go over and beyond. The food is delicious both for breakfast and dinner. We ate in Fern and the meal was delicious. Rooms are nice but I found d our best be too firm but still a good comfortable room.

My only criticism is there are no safety grab rails by the bath which made it difficult to feel fully safe getting in and out to use the shower over the bath.

We had a bottle of prosecco in the room and vouchers for use in the bar for any time up to 21:30 - this consisted of a large scone with clotted cream and jam. Delightful.

Very welcoming, staff friendly and helpful. Nothing was any trouble to them. Food very good and a lovely area to sit and relax both indoors and outdoors.

My husband is disabled and Reception allocated us an appropriate room and reserved us a car space in their car park. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff during our stay, which we enjoyed very much.

The only negative thing I could say is about our dining experience. The menu was very limited and the food could have been cooked better.

Wonderful location overlooking the picturesque market square. A small but beautiful garden to enjoy an early evening drink. We were shown to our room which was very comfortable. Wonderful cooked to order breakfast. We also enjoyed our evening meal on the second night. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Some sort of lift to first floor room would have been useful as carrying a heavy suitcase up 20 step staircase was challenging

This is a lovely old building on the Square in Uppingham. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The bar had 3 handpumps which is unusual in hotels and we enjoyed the beer on offer. Parking was at the back of the hotel. All in all a very pleasant experience

We had a delightful stay at The Falcon Hotel Uppingham. There was ample parking, the rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and had everything we could possibly desire. We at at the associated bistro across the road Dom Paddys where the food was gorgeous. I can't recommend a stay at this hotel more highly.

Breakfast first class, staff very attentive, cosy beautiful hotel. Room too hot for this time of year. no air gets into the room and feels a little cramped. They had a wedding reception, but were pre-warned. Didnt impact out stay.

Would stay again, but might try the dog friendly rooms. Thought the pricing of the food, a little high. Couldnt get bar menu at night, probably because of the wedding.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful settlement. Served breakfast choice excellent . Room amenities excellent. Staff attentive reactive and very good akin all areas. Would highly recommend

Excellent room, bed, location. Old world style very clean and relaxing Staff all have a ready smile. Bit disappointed with evening menu. But the cook-to-order breakfast was the best. Strongly recommended, we will be back.

A lovely hotel. The staff are helpful and the food good. Our room was very hot but it was an extremely hot week . There was a fan but didn’t help much. The lounge was very comfortable with coffee and tea available to purchase whenever it was wanted and a lovely outdoor space to relax in good weather. We will go back
