Hotel is in a prime location with gorgeous views over the sea. Just down steps is the beach and a lovely walk into the town. We upgraded our room to the Superior for the views over the sea and we weren’t disappointed. The room is modern and has everything you need but you are really only paying extra for the sea view. Breakfast was pleasant and a generous size cooked breakfast portion was served to us. We had a Cream Tea and was very disappointed by the small size of the scones and the price they charged. For what you got it wasn’t worth the money we paid. The views whilst eating are memorable. The Spa is very small so do not expect much however the staff down there were friendly. Overall, we did have a lovely time.

We’ve just enjoyed another stay at the Grand and had every bit as enjoyable a time as before. It’s an hotel that certainly lives up to its name with great staff and service, comfortable rooms and an excellent bar and dining room. The food is also excellent. We shall return.

The Grand is positioned superbly for views across Swanage Bay and also as a base to explore Swanage and the surrounding countryside. I recommend it very highly.

The Grand Hotel Swanage is a lovely old style hotel -offering a quiet, peaceful environment where you can really relax. This is a repeat visit to this hotel for my partner and I. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent experience and are looking forward to returning.

Lovely four night stay at The Grand after purchasing two Travelzoo vouchers. Had a recently renovated bedroom with great shower, helpful friendly staff, delicious breakfast included in the breakfast room looking out over the beautiful Swanage bay. Enjoyed a great meal in the evening in the conservatory. Made full use of the leisure facilities.

Great value break, staff exceptional. Nothing too much trouble, great customer facing service skills.
