Outside sitting area but couldn’t use. Paid close to $400 a night. Also could not collect meal voucher because I paid on credit card. Also cocktail was a plastic cup of sangria that I had to drink in the lobby. Unprofessional.

No use of facilities. Too crowded with college kids. Was told couldn’t sit in common area because reserved and had to come back at 10 pm.

Outside sitting area which I was told I needed to come back after 10pm. No accomodations for guests. Not cool when paying close to $400 per night.

Could sit to enjoy a drink because all tables were booked by outsiders. Also was not explained the method of claiming $10 meal voucher and it was not taken off bill because I paid on a credit card and not billed to the room.

The Staff was so friendly, even the minute we walk in. Everyone was...the Valet parking people, the Coffee Shop, the pool area and the restaurant.

The ONLY thing I would recommend (and we were NOT informed of this) is that you CAN order a fridge to your room AND even a microwave. I didn't know that until I had to fuss about warming up my food!!!

We had not been to Charleston and were having a hard time finding a reasonably priced hotel with free cancellation in case our plans changed. The Ryder was perfect. Great location and the room had everything we needed. The room was very clean and the amenities were nice. T3 hairdryer in the room and spa quality soaps. The pool was such a nice option after coming back from a hot day walking around. We received housekeeping services everyday. Having the resort fee waived as part of the travelzoo deal saved money. We elected to valet park ($53 a night) but there was a public garage on Wentworth around the corner. A great Travelzoo deal and we would stay here again.

The CoffeeCounter had Morning Glory muffins for sale. That's the best I can do.

We were put in a very small room. Not able to sit on the toilet and shut the bathroom door. Unable to get in or out of shower if anyone else is in the bathroom. Next to no space for clothes so neither of us could fully unpack. One wooden chair to sit on other than bed. No coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, nothing. We were on the 4th floor which had no direct elevator access. We had to get on one elevator in lobby, get off on 3rd floor, walk the length and a half of the entire floor to get to the next elevator that would take us to the 4th floor and then walk that same distance to finally arrive at our tiny room. Every time! Initially and on our last day huffing all our luggage! I felt that they gave us the worst possible size and room location due to our travelzoo discounted rate. Every staff member at the front desk for every question was new and generally had no real answers but would later try to "find the answer" for us. Don't even get me started about the $53 per day parking fee.

Great location especially because I was moving my daughter out of her dorm at College of Charleston! The pool was fun but small-hard to get a seat.

Nice boutique hotel. Pool area was busy on a warm day. Very convenient to walking to everything in Charleston.

When you check-in, ask for the 3rd floor as the 2nd floor may back up on the restaurant area.

Very convenient location. Ease of access to rooms is a bit inconvenient. Staff was very accomodating.
