Impossible to find anything at all which wasn’t perfect. Nothing will ever beat the Bull Hotel We were thoroughly as spoilt.

The Bull Hotel is excellent value, located in the centre of Peterborough. For the money we paid we got attentive and polite staff, lovely food, ample parking and a bar with a good atmosphere. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has very nice decor in all the communal areas and IF we had been put in the functional room at the start AND the agreement hadn't been disputed the review would have been positive

Both the heating and the TV malfunctioned in our room. To be fair the hotel did move us to a better room. Later there was a disagreement over the price of their afternoon tea, despite a verbal agreement 24 hours earlier.

pleasant hotel in convenient location for city centre but car park poorly signposted .

The staff were helpful and friendly. The only trouble we had was when arriving we used the postcode of the hotel for the car park but the car park has a different post code. It would be helpful if the Bull hotel made this more clearer when confirming the booking not to use the post code on their site but to use the car park post code instead to find the entrance.

A lovely hotel,we enjoyed our stay,the room was clean and very comfortable,evening meal was so nice. Breakfast was also lovely,cooked to perfection,let down slightly by one or two idle waitresses,who only wanted to stand and watch,instead of clearing away dishes.I had to ask one girl to clear our table,so we could eat our fruit and pastries.The couple on the next table,had to also ask a girl to clear there table. But it was a lovely time with the Bull hotel.

The hotel and staff were great and couldn’t do enough for us. Our evening meal on the first night was excellent value for money. Ideally situated for visiting shops and the wonderful cathedral.

Our only concern was that the post code provided on the travelzoo documents related to the actual location of the hotel and not access to the carpark. The front of the hotel has no vehicular access so this lead to some confusion. This was rectified once we called the hotel, who provided the correct details.

Lovely comfortable hotel, friendly, efficient staff and excellent location near train and bus station, city centre and cathedral. Cannot find fault. All facilities you need with restaurant and bar on site while retaining a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Just love everything about The Bull. Our third visit and already planning a fourth.

Very good deal of 2 nights B&B and one dinner. Hotel very central and free car parking. Visited Burleigh and Belvoir Castles, Isaac Newton’s farm and Peterborough Cathedral.

Had a great stay. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel had a lovely warm ambience. Bedroom was cosy and comfortable. Food was very good.

Hotel was quite difficult to find even with the provided directions. Well worth it when you find it though.

Overall enjoyable. Some bar staff didn’t show much enthusiasm for their job. There was a lack of atmosphere but probably due to hotel not being busy at this time of year.

Can't fault The Bull Hotel as it was far nicer than I expected. The staff were great, the food was nice, bedrooms were a good size and the decor very nice. The only problems were a) finding the car park and b) position of the room we stayed in. It took us nearly an hour to find the car park despite the hotel giving us a map and us making 2 phone calls to the hotel. The surrounding roads are one-way only so it is imperative you use Google maps and NOT TomTom or similar. Having a car park behind the hotel was brilliant - once you found it! The only other problem was that the room next to us (117) has it's TV on the adjoining wall to our bed and you can hear nextdoor's TV programmes. At 11.30pm we contacted Reception who came up to speak with RM 117 and asked them to turn their TV down, which they did, but it was still audible in our bedroom. Fortunately their TV programme finished at midnight. Apart from suggesting not to be put in RM 118, we had a really nice time there and for the price I would definitely recommend The Bull Hotel
