We could not say enough good things about this hotel! The location is fantastic - right across the street from the Huntington Pier - yet actually pretty quiet. The theming was fantastic - all of the beach vibes, in the lobby, the rooms, the bar areas, etc. My husband was so excited about the vinyl library and record player in the room. We had a tiny balcony, which was perfect for just getting some air and enjoying the ocean sounds. Staff was excellent. Our brunch was amongst the better hotel ones I've ever had - the chilequiles were perfect, great service, great pricing. We did not get the chance to enjoy some of the other amenities, like bikes, yoga and the pool, but I have no doubt they would have been excellent as well. Will be back!

Our one issue was trying to get an extra blanket and pillows - it took 3 visits and 2 calls to the front desk, and about 2 hours. We wouldn't have minded but it was nearly 11pm and we were heading to sleep. Other than that, the entire stay was perfect.

The location is wonderful. The hotel is cute and fun with sizable rooms and nice amenities. Really great hotel

staff was lovely, sweet and helpful. we ended up accidentally parking in the garage underneath so not moving our car with hotel valet, which worked out fine.

Nice hotel. Great location. It was nice having the resort fee waived since I didn't use those services. Parking is pricey. Restaurant was good. Room configuration was a little odd but it was spacious.

Love all the Kimpton amenities (coffee, nightly happy hour, s’mores, bikes, yoga mats & dog items) but the Shorebreak also had beach chairs, towels, blanket, umbrella and cooler for easy beach access!!

The amenities the hotel offers were a great aspect of our enjoyment of the experience.

We had a great time at Shorebreak. It's a great hotel with friendly staff and good vibes. There was an issue where I had reserved 2 rooms, 1 king and 1 two queen ocean view. The two queen they gave us was not ocean view and when I asked about it they said the Travelzoo did not reserve me an ocean view room. We still had a great time but was looking forward to having at least a partial view which we did not have. They billed my room for the resort fees, which are to be waived with the Travelzoo deal, but as soon as I mentioned it they removed it immediately without issue. I would stay there again for sure.

The nicest staff ever. They sent a sweet treat for my daughter since it was her birthday. Every time we talked to the front desk, no matter who it was, they were awesome!

Everything was perfect. Record player was a great touch.
