It would be good, if Travelzoo accurately described the deal in the first place. It sounds like a great experience. I'm sure we'll very much enjoy it when we do go on the ONLY possible date, in 5 month's time. Ask me again then.

Travelzoo described the offer incorrectly, saying that it was available at weekends and suggesting it would be a good Christmas present. However, it is not available anywhere near me at weekends and the ONLY SINGLE date that a school age child could go at all is in April next year.
The Adventure 001 website crashed when I tried to book and then it told me my voucher wasn't valid. I had to contact customer services, who were helpful, but the whole process took a long time.

Bit chaotic because it was so busy but enjoyable trip, shame about the weather as we couldn't appreciate the lovely countryside. Grandchildren enjoyed the model railways before and after the trip which seemed to go very quickly

We had to amend the tickert and the staff at Adventure 001 were top-notch!
They re-sent the tickets no problem and we got a really nice day out with our friends!

Accessibility for less able bodied people was extremely challenging despite Linda from the station phoning to discuss my parties needs a few days before.
The train ride was overbooked. Far too many people on the platform. Boarding was chaotic & unsafe. Staff & volunteers at Chinnor station did not have control. We left very late. I found the scenery very disappointing. The journey was extremely short, approx 6 miles in each direction ? If I had known this I would NOT have booked. This was a gift for family & I was left feeling extremely embarrassed. The experience was an insult to them.
