Lovely oldy world pub, big comfortable bed room excellent breakfast offering representing excellent an excellent Travelzoo deal

We had a room in the Inn itself. It was spacious with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was modern and spacious with a very good shower and plenty of hot water. The bed linen and towels were immaculate. It overlooked the garden.

We loved the history of The Olde Bell and the history of the village of Hurley. A very pretty village leading to the River Thames. Martin was very knowledgeable and enjoyed telling us above the involvement of the Inn during the Second World War. We

We had an amazing night stay. The dinner and breakfast were delicious with a great choice of food presented beautifully. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly-giving us advice on the local area and making sure that we had everything we needed.

We were visiting our daughter nearby so a perfect location for us. The hotel is situated in a delightful village and very quiet position with ply of parking. The hotel appears to be being refurbished but the reception and entrance in the original old building could benefit from an update . Our room had been redecorated and was a great size. We had to get the heating sorted as rather cold and ask for tea coffee etc which hadn’t been replenished but very quickly rectified. We ate at the hotel and the food was varied and well cooked. The breakfast was a bit hectic as busy and the eggs were cold and overcooked but other than that plenty of choice of cereal pastries fruit and yoghurt. They would benefit from more than one hot drinks machine as it became very busy with people queueing around the tables making it not very relaxing. Overall a lovely short stay in a beautiful village with lots of walks along the Thames. Very good value.

Enjoyed celebrating our wedding anniversary at the Olde Bell. Our room was spacious, with a balcony & garden view, situated in the main building. The evening meal was generous with plenty of choices & all the staff friendly & helpful, breakfast likewise. Loved the village with traditional houses & a footpath walk to the river, beautiful in Autumn colours. Will be recommending this hotel break to friends, such good value

All members of staff were helpful and friendly. Loved the location and were delighted with our upgrade to a luxury room inside the old building. The choice of food at breakfast was wide and we were satisfied with our choice of dishes at dinner. Given everything that was included it was great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

LOVED IT: We were lucky to be in main building, and bed was so comfy, with food great, so compliments to Chef. Also outstanding was the 'Friendliest Staff we've ever encountered, nothing felt like too much trouble. THANK YOU TO ONE AND ALL

We would love to return in the summer to take full advantage of the beautiful garden. And it was lovely to be able to walk out to the Thames Riverpath, which was just a short walk away

Lovely historic building and beautiful countryside all around Lovely village and for walks along the Thames.

We enjoyed our overnight stay, weather thankfully sunny so we could investigate the village and grounds. Nice menu though thought wine a bit pricey. Staff helpful. Good parking. Good breakfast.

Hotel in lovely location a few minutes walk to a beautiful stretch of the Thames. Room was very comfortable, with a good quality en suite. Food was good, maybe a little room for improvement there, but best feature of the hotel is the staff, every one of them were very efficient and ultra friendly.

We would return for a similar deal price.

We were upgraded to honeymoon suite but very odd as there was no soap or bath gel there so had to put some on glass from bathroom. I did mention it to them and said they would put some there

Great stay at The Olde Bell, we had luxury and superior rooms in the main building which lovely The staff couldn’t have been better, especially Dominic, very helpful…..nothing was too much trouble

We booked a deluxe room. Sorry it wasn’t deluxe, it was a bit tired also. Staff were great. Amy, Dominic and the tall chap. Can’t remember his name.

Large car park. Nice building. Very good sized shower cubicle.

Room had no chairs and the washbasin in the bathroom leaked. The Prosecco that was provided as part of the package was left in the room - no ice bucket was provided. The meal on the first night was not very good; my pork was Ok but the crackling was like leather and my wife's Caesar salad was tasteless. Breakfasts were very disappointing. I have never had a good hot buffet style breakfast, and this was particularly bad. If a pub / hotel can't be bothered to serve a breakfast fresh from the kitchen it should not be providing hospitality at all.

An interesting enjoyable experience. A charming part medieval building with great character. A fascinating location with a short easy walk to the Thames.

A guide to the village available in the hotel was really interesting and provided the motivation for us to explore Hirling. We are so glad we did.

Large, clean room , friendly staff

Such a lovely find and such a pleasant and quiet place to stay. We loved the area too.

First room had noisy kitchen fan next to it. We complained & were given a better room for second night. Overall food & service good.

My husbands dinner had the smallest piece of fish ever!!! Chef cooked another portion which was still small & thin but they took his meal off the bill. Good but would rather have had a decent portion initially.

Beautiful hotel, the food was really tasty and plenty of it. The service was excellent, such friendly and personable staff. Comfy king-size bed, large room and bathroom.

There was poor water pressure in the bathroom so the toilet didn't flush properly, and the wooden floor was very slippery, we both nearly went over a few times, no bathroom fan and lights throughout the room very low.

Wonderful old hotel full of character. Allow for its age when rating rooms. Everything you need in the room. Plenty of refreshments. Staff welcoming and friendly. Dinner and Breakfast plentiful and delicious. Pretty surroundings with several loop walks nearby. I teresting history from Monks to Spies! Great value for money.

Had a nice couple of days at the Olde Bell. It was a good retreat to come back to.and very peaceful. Within walking distance to the Thames path & in a lovely village. Henley & Marlow are both a short drive away and are delightful.

The staff were lovely. Breakfast was tasty & a pleasant evening meal on the first night & making the most of the Travelzoo discount. The bottle of prossecco in the room was a nice touch and delighted to have been given a superking bed, wasn't expecting that.

Great setting. Good Food and friendly staff. Room upgrade great for our dog as the room was on the ground floor. Lovely walks to the village shop/cafe and Hurley Lock.

Lovely garden to sit in which you could see from the restaurant. Fortunately it had French windows leading into the garden which provided a nice breeze as it was very hot whilst we were away.

I’m gluten free and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate my dietary needs, although it would have been better if the menu stated allergies etc without having to ask about each meal. Everyone was so friendly and helpful
