We only stayed one night due to storm Bert. Great old pub in a great location, really friendly staff, with a great choice of beers and food. Modern facilities inside, kept its old world charm outside

It’s been finished to a high standard. Lovely rooms and decor. Staff were all helpful and pleasant. The food the pub served was lovely but I felt it was a bit steep in price (saying that it was the same wherever we went in Cumbria) but we aren’t used to prices like that in the midlands. The breakfast was just continental and we both felt it was missing some meat, be it ham and salami. But it needed something else. All in all great value.

We felt the check in and out times were a little bit late/early.

Wonderful remodeled bathroom, great food, welcoming staff

Parking is at the rear of the hotel. Lots of walking places in the area - and it is on the Settle to Carlile trainline.

We stayed with our dog and had a good welcome and stay. Lovely decor and good food in the evening. Breakfast was enjoyed before a train journey to Settle for stunning scenery. Great value stay.

No mirror in the room and nowhere else to eat

hotel was very clean, Tom and staff were very friendly and always willing to help. another Great deal from Travel zoo.
