It was a really lovely hotel. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room was lovely but in the front of the hotel so there was traffic noise. If I stayed again I would ask for a room at the back. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Fabulous hotel just 10 minutes from London Bridge Station. Buses stop close by. Staff very welcoming and helpful. When our taxi for the West End was cancelled by the company they went out to hail another for us. Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful despite us not going down til 10, it being Sunday.

We spent one night there and were very happy with the staff, the rooms and the food. Good location, close to the Tower of London and all the eating places around Borough Market. All good !

Yes. I was charged twice. I booked 2 rooms on the offer for 4 people. I was charged by the hotel on date of booking 31 October then again for both rooms on 1st November. Luckily several weeks later I noticed as I was charged on my credit card. I rang the hotel and was told to email reservations as it may be a holding charge. I didn’t get anywhere with that so I rang my credit card provider who raised a dispute. I didn’t then get anywhere refund of the overcharge. I rang the day before to make sure no more issues as this was a birthday treat for my husband. I was told everything was fine. However on the first morning at breakfast I was told for my daughter’s room only 1 person was registered so we had to pay for her partner. That resulted in another issue with reception and me having to produce booking confirmations from you. They said it was your fault not theirs as you supplied incorrect information. However fault it was it was not mine. I spent hours both before we travelled and at the hotel dealing with the various issues we had. It’s not acceptable this was supposed to be a relaxing birthday treat pre Christmas. It was anything but. I finally got my money back but if I had not spotted it would be a 100 pc overcharge. How would you feel?

Lovely what felt like a boutique hotel. Friendly greeting from the desk staff and everyone we encountered was extremely helpful and polite.

Loved the feel of the building and the way the old court house had influenced the decor , the bar and the entrance. Breakfast was very good too, so all in all a hidden gem.

We absolutely love this hotel! It’s in an amazing location, it’s quirky, really beautiful and the staff are incredibly nice. We always stay here when we visit London and wouldn’t stay anywhere else

Bar service was disappointing. We were told to take a seat in the bar and someone would serve us (we were happy to order at the bar) we waited ages and then I had to go back to the bar to ask someone to come over. (They were not busy) the. They had the cheek to charge us service charge for this poor service.

New hotel and being part of the Marriott group only to happy to try. Wasn’t disappointed. Great building, great bar, rooms well appointed breakfast vast and all the staff were very pleasant.

Excellent hotel, lovely atmosphere and one of the best breakfasts, I have ever had. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Stunning hotel. Lovely room with a comfy bed. Breakfast was ok but staff could be more organised to make the experience better for guests. No one took our coffee order and we had to ask. It was a little chaotic getting seated to either no explanation as to how the breakfast would be delivered eg self service but coffee order taken. Hotel is 0.3 from tower bridge tube station and easy to find.

On entering the Hotel, I was amazed at the beautiful foyer and reception area. The staff were so welcoming and our room was sensational. Beautiful comfortable bed,in a beautifully decorated room. Fluffy towels , beautiful white robe and bedroom slippers were a very lovely extra. Penhaglian Toiletries. Wonderful extras that gave it a touch of luxury.

The room was lovely and had everything we could wish for, including premium toiletries, robes, slippers etc. The hotel was quirky and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The hotel was ideally located for the tower of London.

Lovely stay. Good variety and choices for breakfast. Very nice room with great shower and comfy bed. Ideal for Tower Bridge and Southwark / Borough Market (lots of food places). Stayed here a couple of times now and would definitely stay again.

We were celebrating with our son and his partner so this was a celebration. The hotel experience made our experience very special. It was outstanding.

Excellent hotel in a great location-about 6 min walk from London Bridge Station and a couple of minutes from Tower Bridge. Super room size (and comfort) especially for London! Breakfast had great selection of quality food. All staff were great and the hotel smells so good!! Loved that it used to be the old Magistrates Court as I spent many years working in a courthouse !!

A lovely hotel with staff who could not have been more helpful

It was a short stay arrived at hotel 7.00pm booked out late morning. Everything went well.

Very friendly, helpful, welcoming staff including a glass of fizz on arrival. A good sized bedroom , The king size bed was very comfortable. Excellent buffet style breakfast with good service. Very quiet location but walking distance to Tower Bridge and London Bridge stations, buses every 10 mins. I highly recommend this hotel.

All staff were welcoming. Hotel was spotlessly clean. It was a quiet, perfect location.
