The staff was so kind and helpful. Very clean, they provide local Santa Barbara craft coffee all day and night that were delicious!. Nice size rooms, easy parking and you can walk everywhere. We had the breakfast deal and you get a European breakfast at Olsens Bakery which is fantastic. Great lounge with a large variety of drinks and good. Cute pool and small hot tub. I would Stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks Travelzoo for offering this deal!

Difficult to get around. Also, hotel had no internet connection if you were using an Apple IPad. Inexcusable.

Just close to town

Little to no amenities. Tried to feel upscale but wasn't. It was a run down hotel that was made to feel like it was something more than it really was

Very comfortable. The lobby was very welcoming. The location was perfect.

Hotel was fine. Big room, comfortable bed. Nice easy walking access to all of what Solvang has to offer. The staff at Front desk was exceptional. This came with a voucher for a danish breakfast at Olsens bakery and that did not disappoint. The negatives were that you hear every door opening and closing and everything people spoke from the hallways in the rooms. Walls are quite thin and if you are a light sleeper this might not work for you

Out of the Hotels direct control - I was on the back side rooms and there was a dog in the property behind the hotel that was barking during the day. I was in and out twice during the day and I heard it both times. Nothing at night. There was young child singing and screaming at 1030 pm in a room near mine. I called front desk and they immediately addressed the noise issue and it was over. Again you can hear a lot outside your room. These were inconvenient and maybe luck of the draw issues The staff is excellent and very friendly at the front desk.

Nice clean hotel and walking distance to many restaurants and shops.

We were very pleased with our overall stay. I felt like the $50 dollar stay for our dog was a very fair price to pay for her.

A bit dissapointing that the room phones were all removed you need to use your cell phone to call the front desk. That info should be told to you when checking in so instead of looking all around the room and not finding one you are made aware.

The front desk staff was pleasant and courteous, but we weren't able to check in until 35 minutes after check in time. The room was spacious, the beds were really comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing. However, the TV would not respond to the remote so we texted the front desk (no hotel phones in the rooms) and were told they did not have a maintenance person on site. Hmmmmm. When I expressed my disappointment they sent a couple of employees from a nearby site. They were able to get the remote activated again but when we tried to watch TV later in the evening it wouldn't work again and still no maintenance on site. So, we did not have access to the TV.

They had "travelzoo" folk booked for the 1st floor, street view. We asked for 3rd floor. They said "not clean yet, we'll call you when ready." That was 3pm, stated check in time. We had a dinner/birthday party for a friend at 5 pm, and we were still waiting in the lobby to hear about a room. Finally, we told them we'd come back late in the evening to check in. As we were getting in the car, they said "wait, room's ready now." It did make us late to our social engagement, and, for that, I will not return.

It was pleasant, nice clean hotel

At 12:30 a.m., we were awakened by an akarm going off. No explanation was provided nor were we notified that everything was okay. There were no phones in the room to get a hold of the front desk.

Staff were phenomenal. Sabrina greeted us upon arrival and set the stage for the standard of service and we were very impressed with all the staff. Nice hotel, clean, convenient, and would recommend and go again.

A great value in Solvang. Located perfectly with free EV (Tesla) chargers and an underground parking lot.

No maid service during our stay, only prior to check in. We were only there 2 nights so wasn’t a big deal. Room is clean .

Hotel is very nice and comfortable. It's the first hotel as you're driving into Solvang from the Hwy101 which is nice because the traffic through town is pretty horrendous, but if you're staying here you get to jump out of that traffic right away. The lounge is a nice hang out. Everything in town is within walking distance. The included continental breakfast is down the street about half a block and not worth the wait in line. Fortunately, there are so many coffee shops and bakeries in town and, since we were already out, we just got coffee and a pastry somewhere else every morning.

Have to mention that this place is kinda noisy. Can hear people stomping down the halls, doors closing, dogs barking, children playing the whole time we were there. Still, I would go back. Noise subsided at night so it didn't keep me up, but if you're prone to sleeping in this may be an issue.

Vinland is walkable to most of Solvang. Since traffic is always heavy, it was a relief to leave the car in the underground parking.

Our room was great! It was spacious, clean, and had extremely comfortable beds. We had a gigantic balcony overlooking the oak forest. It was so calming to walk out and listen to the birds sing. The hotel was on the edge of town, but it was an easy walk into town. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Not knowing what to expect, the Vinland Hotel was a delightful surprise and added to a memorable trip.

Location was very convenient and the breakfast voucher was nice.

Good overall experience. Hallways are a little loud and rooms facing Hwy into town pretty noisy. Good coffee provided 24 hours.

No hand or face towels upon arrival. We were provided 2 bath mats as hand towels later in stay. Bath mats do not make good hand towels. Hotel needs more hand towels.

Tranquil hotel to stay in. Great location. Friendly staff.

My one gripe is that they only have ceiling mounted, fixed, downward facing "rain shower" shower heads. In stalled in the center, you cannot turn on the water without getting wet, and the spray is so soft, washing long hair is difficult. Also, shaving legs is impossible with out turning the water off and sitting on the floor of the shower. Give me a wall mount with a hand held attachment any day!!

Easy parking, great for Handicap. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean but shower was almost impossible to use as handles were unreachable! Weird. Sliding glass door was hard to open.

The view from the patio was beautiful and we could not hear noise from the street. I loved the double mirror I front of the sink and the full length one on the bathroom door. The heater, however, was very loud. It was good to have a voucher for the Olsen bakery. We enjoyed or breakfast there. Thank you!
