Great location about four blocks from the Blue line train that travels to and from o'hare, very convenient. Also right inside the theater museum district, very convenient also. Great rooms. Great staff. A little disappointed they had a private party the next morning and I couldn't assess the restaurant. If you were staying on-site, I would think you at least have access to the restaurant, not cool. But plenty of other places in the area to eat. Very short stay for me so I cannot comment thoroughly on specific area details.

Great location. Clean. Great work out room. The walls were a little thin so you could hear a lot in the next room. I would also recommend a room not facing Mich ave bc of the noise from the street. the rooms were clean. the staff was super friendly. parking was short walk up the block.

The hotel was great though the rooms were a little small. When we arrived the music in the lobby and the restaurant was very loud, especially for these old ears, but it was happy hour. We had a very nice stay.

Wonderful hotel. I couldn’t believe the value for the high style of room. Usually with a discounted rate, I never expect great service or upgrades but it was the opposite here. They gave us a city view room and late checkout. Had loft feeling with high ceiling. Amazing espresso maker in room. We brought our dog and everyone was very nice to her. There is no where immediate to take your dog potty so that is good for other dog owners to know. It is a 10 min walk to closest dog park. Excellent location for walking. We did SpotHero parking to save money because valet is $75 a night. Our spot hero parking cost $73 total for 3 nights. Great experience here!

Booked through Travelzoo which was supposed to include $15 credit for food/ meal per day. The hotel "dropped that option" but failed to notify Travelzoo, and only gave a 15% discount on food at the restaurant in the lobby. Big difference in dollars if you're only getting breakfast there. And by the way- that $15 was only good for dinners- not breakfast or lunch (of course, dinner is higher-priced than either of those).

The rooms are on the small side but very comfortable and stocked with everything you need. The bed is super comfortable! Great staff, excellent restaurant inside the hotel, location can't be beat!!

Perfect location for first time visitors.

The hotel was nice and in a great location. It is right across the street from Millennium Park. You can walk to a lot of attractions or catch the bus or train nearby. There is great shopping and restaurants close by. The staff were nice. The room was nice and good landing spot after a long day of exploring. The only drawback was my room was on the street side of the building which meant I heard all the noise of passing cars. But overall good experience and the price was great.

They do have a great location, close to L trains and Millennium Park and Art Institute. It is also a good-looking hotel, with hip (little) lobby.

Two disappointments: 1. Despite my Travelzoo reservation which specifically mentioned "$15 DAILY FOOD CREDIT," at check in the clerk told me the deal had changed to "15% off bill at any meal." This is clearly a long way from the advertised benefit, although she tried to spin it as a better deal because it applied to "any meal." Nonsense! 2. I was awoken by sustained noise in the hallway at 2:30am, and had to call the desk to request that someone deal with it. The next day, I stopped at the desk to speak with a Manager. No one EVER contacted me regarding the disturbance or my request to speak with management. Poor form, and NOT the actions of top-tier hotel.

This was a really good hotel with nice amenities and a very accommodating staff! 10/10 recommend!

Overall, it was very good, but I did not receive the $15 daily food and beverage credit as specified in my purchase. I did ask at check in but the hotel said this wasn't a thing, so I did not receive it. ;(

Very nice, but the hotel was unaware of the perks with the TravelZoo package, and we had a couple of hiccups getting those.

Fantastic staff! They even remembered me from my previous visit 4 months earlier. They gave me a spectacular room with a view! Super comfy beds!

Travelled to Chicago with sister. It is centrally located to everything downtown so we walked everywhere. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are great. It was a wonderful experience. This is where we will stay from now on. Thank you.

We booked this hotel on a travel zoo special. The price was so good we worried what we would find when we checked in. Instead, we found the staff warm and welcoming and they even moved my room up 10 floors to give us a better city view. All at a price substantially below their published rates.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Clean and well appointed rooms which were on the small side; thus, the lack of a fifth star. An incredible value for a true boutique hotel !

Great location!! Cross the street from Millennium Park (the Bean), train station, and bus stops. Minutes to the River Walk and Magnificent Mile. Staff are super nice and helpful. Hope to stay there again in the future

Everything great.

A friend and I stayed for a girls weekend and the Arlo couldn't have been better. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The welcome amenities were nice and the location was fantastic. We used the Grant Park North garage for our overnight stay and saved on that by booking in advance too. We didn't get to try the restaurant but it looks pretty good and had a nice "lucky hour" special.

The Arlo Chicago was great. Perfect location, large spacious updated rooms, friendly and helpful staff made for an amazing stay.

So much about the Arlo Chicago hotel to love - the friendly and helpful staff, the rooms (and awesome views), and the location. The rooms are thoughtfully planned out, with lighting and electric outlets conveniently located throughout, perfect (and quiet!) climate control, and comfortable beds and seating. I can't wait to return!

What a nice hotel! spotlessly clean, great location,, friendly, I loved it!

The only difficulty I had was parking. I arrived in heavy traffic and the GPS took me to the Michigan Avenue door, where there was no place to pull over rather than taking me to the door on the other side of the building with valet and parking. It was a little confusing... I ended up parking elsewhere at a higher rate and walking a ways, but no big deal.

This boutique hotel in the heart of the Chicago Loop is beautiful! The atmosphere, ambience, decorations, amenities were perfect. The back door let us to a safe alleyway leading to Macy’s on State Street, one of my most nostalgic shopping and eating experiences ever! I definitely would stay at the Arlo Chicago again! Additionally, exploring Michigan Avenue was so fun and easy to walk!

Spectacular! The staff was exceptional! The restaurant's breakfast & dinner was great! Loved the Jazz Trio on Thursday night! Pleasant surprise! The room was very nice & super comfortable bed! Great bath products too!

Only complaint was the coffee machine in the room didn't work. I had to go down to the restaurant both mornings for coffee.
