The peace and quiet of the river, welcoming the fall equinox with a friend and the great crew that helped us get on our way!
Jen, Joe and other staff couldn't have been nicer!

The actual boating and experience on the river was very fun and relaxing. What I found extremely concerning and upsetting was that the person that picked us up from the river jammed her vehicle with 18 passengers (including the driver) when it was intended for seating up to 12 people only. The last two rows of seats had 10 passengers alone. This was a clear violation of customer safety and I did not feel comfortable at all with how this situation was handled. It was clear that the driver wanted to minimize the number of trips she would have to make to drive us all back to the starting point in Healdsburg. This situation would not have occurred had the staff planned and timed the pick up of customers better. the first group of people were left waiting for at least 20 minutes while we waiting for the van to "fill up." we should have departed when there were already 9 passengers, since there ended up being 18 people crammed into a van. luckily we did not get into an accident, but that should not be an excuse to overlook how unprofessional, irresponsible and dangerous of a decision this was. Hopefully you do not have to experience a fatality before you realize how unacceptable this is.
