Great location, short walk to the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was amazing, full omelet bar, variety of other options that changed every day. Coffee was great. We were there during Spring break so there was a line and at times challenging to get a table. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Afternoon reception was good with complimentary drinks and snacks. Our room was on the 21st floor with beautiful partial view. We will definitely go back.

We stayed with our adult sons and their children. The hotel is set up for families' enjoyment. We really enjoyed the breakfast, large pool and happy hour. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff friendly.
Other Comments
My only suggestion would be to offer more lounge chairs and remove the cabanas and sun beds. They are expensive to rent and few people use them.

Originally bought the regular room package voucher from Travelzoo. When I went to book (~6 months in advance), hotel said my dates were not available. Told only rooms available for my preferred dates if I pay to upgrade to oceanview room voucher for extra $600. Travelzoo said there was no refund of my original voucher so had to pay a lot of extra $. Hotel location and the extra space of the suite is excellent. But the hotel is getting a bit dated and looking tired. All in all with additional taxes $2500+CAD for 4 nights is not really worth it.

On the last day when I went to hang up bath towel, I noticed black mold on the bathroom ceiling/wall. I showed a few photos to the reception person when I went to check out.
Breakfast staff at Embassy are hard working and courteous. Always hustling to keep tables clean and doing their jobs with smiles and kind greetings.

The pool has very limited seating for the size of the hotel. Kids run wild at the pool and no one enforces the rules.

Had a wonderful 4 days at Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk. Really, no complaints whatsoever. The free breakfasts were delicious, complete with omelet station, but it was crowded and you had to wait in (short) lines to get your omelets. Many families with small children. I think Travelzoo inflated the deal, stating that the room I got for $1090 was originally $2000, but on the hotel's website, it was never nearly that high--more like $1200 tops. Still a nice savings, but please don't exaggerate.

Super comfortable bed. Very quiet room despite the hotel being very occupied. Really, everything was super.

Very difficult to book. Tried online, didn't work. Tried calling, wrong phone number. Sent email to request reservation which was not answered for over a week. In meantime, able to book online.
Other Comments
Furnishings are a little outdated. Very basic. Sent second balcony chair which was badly discolored and then replaced.

I wouldn’t go back to Waikiki as I prefer the outer islands now that I experienced downtown. The hotel was hreat
