The massage I got was very good. I would recommend this place if you are interested in a good massage and don’t expect a full spa experience.

It is called a spa but barely resembles one. Front Desk/Check-in: not really welcoming. Rushed check-in. No feeling if you’re about to be pampered. Locker room: small lockers. Ceiling had multiple areas where there were leaks/damage some places boarded up to cover leaks. Not at all luxurious. Toiletries were subpar. Apparently they ran out of refills for their big containers and decided to leave 4-5 containers of single use conditioner in the shower stall. Some were used and empty. But even to have the full ones just thrown on top of the ugly large containers was tacky. Worse of all was the way the guests were permitted to conduct themselves. Two women were constantly taking pictures (yes, in the locker room!) and blasted their music on their cell phone. I guess they didn’t like the soft spa music in the background and had no regard for other guests who were there for RELAXATION and not to listen to their hip hop music while they took showers and got ready. Of course the staff either didn’t know, because the locker rooms are not well attended or didn’t care. Either way, not my idea of a relaxing experience. Relaxation room was not relaxing at all. The room has very thin walls to the point that you could even hear the water running in the locker room. Loud banging noises, etc. The tea and comfy lounge chairs were great. But there was nothin else relaxing about the room. Oh yes, and the same guests that were blasting their music in the locker room were again constantly posing and taking pictures and talking on the phone ON SPEAKER mode with their friends. Steam room was broken. Pool and jacuzzi were also quite disappointing. It may have been my fault for not paying closer attention to the description but be aware, the pool and jacuzzi are part of the hotel. At 12 noon on a Friday in mid-September, there were about 5 kids ranging from 5 years to 12 years screaming from the top of their longs and running around and jumping in the jacuzzi. Again, no staff supervision whatsoever. Pedicure chairs were not typical pedicure massage chairs that you find at any nail shop, upscale or low grade. Instead there were very high, in adjustable pedestal chairs that looked beautiful and throne-like. Obviously whoever design and approved these chairs either never had a pedicure in their life or didn’t think anyone would ever use them for an actual pedicure. The massage room was very nice and besides her cold demeanor which was fine with me, the massage therapist did a superb job with the massage. Overall, the day turned out to be quite disappointing and not very relaxing as I had expected. I’ve been to spas all over the world. Some better than others. But this spa should not even bother to call itself a spa. It is more of a hotel health club that offers spa services. From what I saw, the spa guests didn’t seem to be your typical spa-goers. They seemed to be there using the cheap travelzoo deal. Which I should have expected.

The lounge area (though snacks would’ve been nice).

Steam room was broken during my visit. The closest staff that was available for assistance was all the way at the check in desk. Forced to walk all the way to the check in desk with a robe and slippers on to ask a question. Massage left me with bruises the next day.
