It was not clear that you could only order from price fix menu Too limited We asked to apply the money so we could order what we liked. We were told that would forfeit the whole amount Ridiculous!!!

The food and atmosphere
Dear Travelzoo, although I loved the experience at Le Grenier, I wanted to point out that the travelzoo deal was a bit misleading. It said, 2 appetizers (up to $11 each) and 2 entrees (up to $26 each), but nothing on the menu was up to that price value. Appetizers were below $10 except for 1 item, and no entree on the menu was $26. I think the most expensive entree was below $24. It is just a couple of bucks, but I wanted to point it out.

Service could have been more attentive. Without the coupon, the prices would not have been worth it for the food.

Great food and good service
I didn't realize the name would fit the decor . Interesting concept but it was oppressively stifling on a a hot July day !if I go back it would be in the winter and I would be prepared for possibly a cold interior.

Great deal on good food and cool atmosphere. We frequent this restaurant regularly.
It is decidedly and authentically French, which includes the typical French "approach." Meaning the service is often on the slower side and not overly personal. It's not a bad thing, just a little different than what some might be accustomed to.
