Our 4 year old had a terrific time.
The buses could use an upgrade.

My grandchildren love to visit Roer's Zoo and especially get to feed Waffles the giraffe. They were sorry that this time around in the season they did not get to ride the camels since they have already gone home and the parakeets would not come out to feed on the sticks probably because the day was on the cold side. otherwise a great experience.

Nice day at the park. Kinda small but nice for the area.

Overall We enjoyed our experience.
The Admission price is too high. Either lower the Admission or don't expect the Average person to visit again for 3-5 years. Another option would be to include 1 cup of food with Admission which would likely result in MORE food sales as most people would likely purchase at least 1 more cup per person.

The zoo is right in the middle of housing developments and easy drive to. I was a bit disappointed with how small it was and that half the enclosures were goats. Loved the training session with the Bobcat and got to see the cheetahs up close. Would be great for young kids but my older granddaughter had a good time but would have preferred to go to the National zoo.
The staff were all very knowledgeable and professional. The facility was clean and in good repair. The animals looked well cared for.
