My wife, Jackie, is a retired ICU nurse and sets a very high standard for cleanliness. She had a very pleasant discussion with the staff about specific shortcomings, most of which she had already corrected herself. The staff was very responsive and I have every reason to believe the shortcomings will not be witnessed by future guests.

My wife and I have stayed in a range of accommodations over the past 20 years in Cannon Beach--this is actually her favorite ocean destination. I would suggest that Hotel Lodgiings specifically point out that Ocean beach access is but one block west of these particular cabins. This was not explained on their website. With the stormy weather which set in yesterday, overnight and into this morning we had no problem hearing the wonderful sounds of crashing waves all night. Bruce

The location was great. The room was clean other than the dishes.
Other Comments
Keybox not locked upon arrival, door not marked as sanitized as advertised, TV instructions were inaccurate (I even had to help the room next door), dishes were not clean, fireplace did not vent and filled our room with smoke, did not replace fire log each day as advertised, bed was extremely high off the ground.

The neighborhood was great, close to everything. It has the potential to be a great spot but currently needs work.
Other Comments
It was weird to book this. The dates were constricting with the coupons / available dates.
Their check-in protocol was confusing, poorly communicated.
The room was not very clean, needs to be VERY deeply cleaned and painted.

Enjoyed our room; comfortable and clean. I could see this hotel being a wonderful little getaway during non-Covid times, sitting around the fountain in the courtyard!
Other Comments
There was not enough hot water to fill our jacuzzi tub; breakfast was marginal at best.
