The lake, tours, the food. First room had a scorpion which my husband disposed of, the second room had large silver bugs...They were all over the floor apparently during the night, got into our bags, even got on one of the beds...Not too happy. Told there was no manager to speak to at checkout, they took a whopping 10.00 off the bill.

Service at marina was good except that instructor attempted to give me a motor boat with a damaged prop when I got the houseboat. Had the young lady not noticed the issue up front I could have been forced to pay for damages someone else had caused with their rental.

House boating should not be attempted on Lake Powell without GPS which you must purchase and load with map prior to arriving. Over 2000 miles of shoreline with very poor maps provided. Lake is 100 feet below normal which affects accuracy of most maps. Expect to get lost without GPS.

Such an incredible experience to be on Lake Powell! I was surprised how easy it was to figure out how to navigate despite never driving a boat before. Houseboat was furnished and full kitchen with everything we could possibly need.
