My one comment/observation would be that I think a more family oriented restaurant would be an added benefit to the property. A hamburger place, pizza, Mexican food. Something like that. We were there for 3 nights and never needed to leave. But, a large, loud and fun family restaurant would be great.

The hotel is very old and desperately needs updating, but the real disappointment was that the boats--the only reason we chose this property--were broken and completely not in service. Also, the main pool was being drained on a Saturday, limiting our pool options, the room didn't have any toilet paper and we had to call to request some, and the room was actually dirty and in desperate need of housekeeping, in fact, something too gross to mention was on one of the walls. The second room that we purchased for my mom had old food in the fridge and we had to call to have it removed.

Love the pools, and being able to park and not drive anywhere for a couple of days. Have been there several times, and this was definitely not what we have experienced before there.

Room was not clean when we went to it, had to move rooms, no apology from staff. Waited over an hour for robes to be brought to our room. Difficulty getting reservations at a restaurant on site (called repeatedly for almost an hour to get someone to answer the phone!) All in all, very disappointing service.

We love the grounds with the different bodies of water i.e., the large lagoon for the little boats to travel. Enjoyed seeing the many different birds and other wild life. Our room had a gorgeous view of the entire pool/lagoon/part golf course. Our food from the grill/restaurant was very scrumptious!! The waiters/waitresses were very kind and attentive to our needs. It was very nice to have options for restaurants without leaving the resort. Also liked the shops to look through. Also thought the drain on the main pool was a pretty cool idea, not hot so you can sit on it to dangle your legs into the pool while not having to put towels drenched with water on the sides of the pool.

Didn't really care for the first gal we had when checking into the hotel. We felt like her attitude was such she was doing us a favor, not good. Also, at night when we wanted to enjoy our patio there was tons of little white bugs that flew into our room so pretty much the rest of the evening I was swatting bugs.
