I had no idea how much Richard Nixon accomplished, such as: signing Title 9, the Clean Air Act of 1970, Marine Mammal Protection Act, established the EPA, ending the Draft. He started the "War on Cancer" campaign by funding over $100million for research. So much more. Yes - there was Watergate. The Nixon library / museum does not gloss over that. There was also his California connection, and the west coast White House in San Clemente. All of this and more is featured at the museum. His presidency ended in shame, but there was a lot accomplished for this country before that.

I wish the Helicopter was availalbe to be toured. It was too hate and windy that day.

We were pleasantly surprised. The Viet Nam presentation was just right in length. It was nice to have the library on the site of Nixon's childhood home and with the original home that wasn't moved from a different site.

I highly recommend that you have a café or some food and beverage available. By the time we left the exhibit, we were faint with hunger.

Beautiful facilities and grounds. We need to go back, we did not allow enough time to see everything. A very emotional exhibit about Viet Nam POW's.
