Booking was difficult. Other than honoring our reservation our vouchers had to be explained to the staff which was awkward with guests present. The bill was presented without showing the credits. We were hosts to a party of 9. We had prepaid for 8. The food was way under par for a restaurant of this status and very expensive. The salads were drenched in dressing. How can you mess that up? The signature garlic soup was certainly left over from last week. The duck and lamb were so tough and poorly prepared you couldn't chew either. And the wine pairings were hardly drinkable. Without complaints I returned a full plate of duck which was unetible. We were there for 4 hours with long waits between courses and the noise level was again not at all typical for this type of dining experience. Perhaps they were having an unusually bad night but it's a shame it had to be at our expense. However, we said nothing as we didn't want to make a scene and of course our guests were not going to say anything either out of politeness to us. No one commented one way or another. No I' d never go back there. There are too many good restaurants in New Orleans where we could spend that kind of money.

Each course was fantastic, but the peach cobbler was out of this world. I'd also give the garlic soup and the filet a 5 star thumbs up too.

This small intimate restaurant has a terrific staff. They juggled a large table of 10 guests but never once did the not remain attentive to the smaller groups of guests. Very, very nice place. I will go again.

The Duck pate’ was amazing, the Garlic soup is a signature but not phenomenal. The sweetbreads are a definite yes, the duck breast entree was the best dish any of us had.

You have to order all courses at the same time (starter, soup/salad, entree)then the courses will come out at their pace. It’s kind of odd, just go with it.

The food was fantastic and the service was very attentive and knowledgeable.

The food choices were exceptional. My only wish is that we would have been allowed to apply the allotted amount to a more expensive option and pay the difference. We would have ordered more expensive salads or wine if that was the case.
