The price of $169 was good. The only thing to be aware of is that it will cost you an extra $72.89 when you check out in addition to this price, so you will have spent a total of $241.89. It also took me about 20 minutes to check-in.

I wish I would have been a little more aware of the lower level of service (due to Covid) that was going to be provided BEFORE I arrived so that I would be more prepared. this was our first outing since March 2020, after communicated with the hotel staff about our safety concerns, only 29% max booking, individually air circulation, mask-wearing in public at all time... etc, we felt safe to visit. it was an overall very nice exprence. the hotel was very clean, staffs ware very courteously. the only down part of our stay was the face covering, in our overnight stay, there were about 5% of customers don't wear a face-covering indoor, about 20% outdoor. Some of them walk right through the front entry with no covering on and the staff didn't stop them. that was the reason I took one star off the Staff/Service. it was a great stay, the only down part was the face-covering wasn't enforced.

Awesome water park! That was the big draw for us. The online early check in was appreciated. Too bad the app didn’t work. My kid and I went for the water slide right away. Great ambiance, very clean and well kept. The staff are all friendly, courteous and very mindful of all Covid precautions. Wonderful Thanksgiving getaway. I do wish they had a microwave oven in the room.

We had to pay some extra fees, so it definitely wasn’t the inexpensive trip we had thought we would have but the pools/lazy river/slides, etc were unbelievably awesome and it was the perfect COVID trip because there were very few people there but it was fully staffed and everything was open. The cocktails are delicious and the food options cover all of the bases. We didn’t leave the property for food. The photos do not do this place justice. Per fee$150 parking $23/night upgraded room fee for pets $30/night.

In this time of covid, this Villa provided us a fabulous, safe space to relax away from home. The rooms were very spacious. Our king bedroom also had a lounge chair and plenty of room for the pack n’ play. The bath tubs and sinks are definitely not kid friendly but you make it work. Having the hot tub in our yard was such a lovely treat. After playing all day at the kids water slide we were able to warmup and retreat to our own private hot tub.
The food was pricey but meals were large and there was a decent variety. Having a fridge and microwave in the room came in handy. We stocked up on snacks at the local grocery store and that helped out greatly.

Bathtub only had scalding hot water. Repair man came and spent 30 minutes working on it before telling me that he had to go on his break (8:15pm). So my kids couldn’t take a bath after being in the pool all day. Finally got kids to sleep, and front desk calls and wakes everyone up at 9:15pm. Next day, bathtub still not fixed, son was playing on the splash pad and tore his skin off of his toe from an uneven opening on the drain of their splash pad. All staff were extremely nice however

Overall it was a great experience. However during booking I put down early check in and when we got to the hotel I was told early check in is not guaranteed and we had to wait which made things difficult because we arrived after an 8hr drive with kids and this was an important piece of information to know ahead of time especially traveling with kids. I didn’t see any mention of early check not guaranteed anywhere on the website, so we ended up paying extra for an upgraded room because that was the only option available if we want to check in. We arrived at 2pm and the regular check in time is 4pm. The hotel was not able to accommodate us for a couple of hours which was disappointing.

This property was over crowded and it was uncomfortable to be in the pool and pool lounge area. We didn’t see anyone social distancing and my own daughter who was so excited about the Hytides Park felt afraid to use the slides and lazy river because of the wet chipped paint all over the staircase up to the slides and the blatant over crowding in the slide lines plus while floating on the lazy river there were literally people wading by without an inter tube touching us as they passed!
Where was the pool Covid safety security? I only saw a few lifeguards who were not enforcing safe spacing!
The room location was good and that’s where we ended up for most of the afternoon sort of a waste of nearly 400. total dollars with the extra taxes and resort fee.
We would not recommend this property.

This was a spur of the moment trip. My husband and I had a week off together and decided to take our kids and have some fun. The Hyatt Indian Wells did not disappoint! All staff was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. The penthouse suite was spotless and had an amazing pool and mountain view. The pools! There were 7 pools, 2 slides, and a lazy river. We had poolside service for food and drinks. We also rented a cabana for our second day. That was a fantastic experience as we did not need to look for lounge chairs and the cabana had towels, bottled water, a TV, and mini fridge to keep our drinks cold. The dining experience was A+. We Cafe served Starbucks coffee as well as a variety of grab n go salads, sandwiches, drinks, snacks, medications, vacation wear in case something was not packed. For dinner we ateon the outside terrace near a beautiful fountain overlooking the golf course. Service was excellent, the food delicious, and the cocktails strong. There were many families at the resort and the staff was amazing at providing extra care with obvious extra cleaning and accommodations for guests of all ages. My family and I will definitely be back and will highly recommend the beautiful Hyatt Indian Wells to family and friends.

I had hard time booking. Took me 3 times to call hotel to make sure & get it reserved. Over an hour. I was okay but what about the one who travels from far away or over sees. I made sure it got delivered to upper management on Hyatt end. TravelZoo was out of question. Only one thing which I was not too excited about it especially when it’s left unclear or not properly explained — the deal was $169 initially, but I was charged $179. Not big deal for most of us. Question is how come though. Apparently there were no kore available for my dates for that price. And I was given only that choice which I was okay with but left out with some transparency doubts.

Everything was really wonderful, but again we find that if you are there with Travelzoo, you do not get the best accomodations. We paid extra for a pool view room and the view we had were huge trees blocking the view of the pool. They don't actually give you pool view, it was actually obstructed pool view with Travelzoo. The other couple traveling with us got the same obstructed view. So, my recommendation is do NOT pay extra for pool view when using Travelzoo. Another thing not mentioned before hand is the price to park. Whether you valet or self-park, it is still $23.50 per day!! No other hotel in the desert charges fees to park...so this was kind of a shock to us. Travelzoo: please let people know this in your ad.

Booking was not easy. I spent a long time explaining the voucher to the receptionist. I bought 2 vouchers - for 2 rooms, and the receptionists seemed confused as to how to redeem them. I initially had to pay full price because he needed a supervisor to double check validity and redemption policy. I finally got my money back for the first night after about 1.5 weeks after my trip. If we could have this process more easier that would help!

Overall it is a clean and nice place. However, I had 2 issues ( 3 with the issue at checking in!). The bath tubs in either of my rooms (I reserved 2) did not work. We did not realize this until the last night so it never was addressed until checkout, the receptionist could care less about this. He did nothing to compensate or did he even bother tounderstand my frustration. The second instance I waas dissatified with the hotel was on my second night my family and I visited the pool and were not allowed to bring food or drinks inside - when we had no problem doing so the night before. When I asked at reception why this was the case - they seemed confused and added that there should be no problem bringing items into the pool, except for food. There just seemed to be miscommunication among employees.
