About the Getaway

Playa del Carmen is located on the Riviera Maya and features 75 miles of shoreline. The area is known for Mayan ruins, snorkeling, diving, and underground caves and cenotes. Fifth Avenue is a pedestrian walkway and one of the area's top attractions. It is lined with hotels, shops, art galleries, restaurants, bars and clubs.

Flights are not included in this deal. However, Cancun International Airport (CUN) is approximately a one-hour drive from the hotel. Nonstop or one-stop flights are available from multiple U.S. cities. Airport transfers can be arranged through the hotel at an additional cost. Please contact the hotel directly to arrange transportation.

Voucher cancellation and refund policy: Within 14 days of purchase, Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you change your mind or can't find dates that suit you. Once you book your dates, changes and cancellations are subject to the hotel's cancellation or rescheduling policy and may result in a fee or voucher forfeiture. You must cancel your reservation directly with the hotel prior to refunding your voucher. Vouchers can be refunded online by going to "My Account.” After 14 days your voucher becomes nonrefundable.

Hotel cancellation and rescheduling policy: Once you’ve made your reservation, changes and cancellations are subject to the hotel’s cancellation policy, and must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival. If you cancel or change your booking in violation of the hotel's cancellation policy, you may be subject to additional fees or voucher forfeiture.

Occupancy rules: Price based on up to 2 guests per room. King Suites can accommodate up to 2 guests. Queen Suites can accommodate up to 3 guests. A third guest can stay upon prior request for an additional fee. The fee for guests ages 13 and up is $410–$470 per person, per night. Children 3–12 can stay for $250–$350 per child, per night. Extra-person fees are payable directly to the hotel. Children under 3 years of age stay free of charge.

Absolutely love it! Great organic food (delicious vegan, but there is a meat substitute also). Beautiful surroundings, quiet, peaceful. Lots of yoga, breathing, meditation, healing, art classes. Most of them are in nature. Beautiful not crowded swimmable beach. Great service. rooms are beautiful with great ocean view.

I love Palmaia. The property is beautiful and never crowded. The staff is amazing - always friendly and eager to make sure you have the best experience. The beach at Palmaia is literally one of the best I’ve been to in Mexico (large, white sand, wide variety of seating options). Love all of the activities including daily yoga, visiting the onsite cenotes and getting treatments at the spa.

It was a great weekend holiday. The hotel is beautiful and the whole wellness and plant based food menu was excellent. I was able to just unwind and take care of ourselves. Definitely coming back.
