The staff was grea!. The location was beautiful. The excursions were fun. However, you must drive to get there. It’s fairly remote. The roads are windy and the driving is tough because drivers there speed and do not stay in their lanes, which is dangerous on the small, windy roads. There is no restaurant on the property except for breakfast, which was fabulous. This is all clearly stated in the booking information.
We were not comfortable driving into town to the restaurants in the evenings since they don’t open until 7:30, so we would be driving back in the dark. We did grocery shop during the day so that we had food in our apartment, But would have much preferred dining out in the little towns nearby, had the driving felt more safe to us.

Our apartment had a fireplace, (which was really nice to enjoy in the evenings) when there was a bit of a chill. We were there in April. The views were wonderful and the property is lovely! A great place to unwind and relax! The staff went out of their way to see that we were comfortable! The surrounding towns were also pretty interesting to visit, but parking was an issue.

This is a well-situated location to visit so many of Tuscany’s wonderful hilltop towns. The views at sunset and sundown were stunning. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. I would recommend this location to friends and family!

It could not have been any better. Courteous staff, very large rooms (3 bedrooms and 3 baths), and the most amazing breakfast. The cappuccino was delicious and they also made fresh eggs upon request. Fairly central to the towns of Pienza and Montepulciano - each was about 15 - 20 minutes by car. They had a lovely big swimming pool but we did not get to use it as we were out touring every day of our stay. We highly recommend this resort.
