Beautiful beach, beautiful room, lovely resort, exceptional staff, good food. Remote location limited accessibility to rainforest activities. Fitness Center was under renovation , which was disappointing.

It has potential. It could use better management of the property.

Generally speaking, the property was not prepared for guests. There was a lot of construction as the place was being renovated, they were under staffed and the staff was not trained. The room lacked some of the amenities that were promised and the wall outlet came out when I plugged my phone in to charge.

Most of the staff was wonderful and friendly, I feel bad for them.

The concierge Luna booked an excursion for us and made us pay ahead of time. Then she canceled it because they needed at least 4 people for the excursion to happen and nobody else signed up. She assured us we would be reimbursed and we have been trying to get the hotel to give us our $265 refund since the morning we left (when they promised time and time again that we would receive it to our credit card within 30 days), and now they are saying they don’t owe us the money and don’t return our messages 3 months later. The manager refused to speak with us about this. Also, the gym and spa were closed for renovating which they didn’t tell us ahead of time, and most nights although we were promised 4 restaurants to choose from, we only had one option so we ate the same food the entire trip. Poor management.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was always very helpful and the food was delicious. It was a peaceful vacation and I would go back again. My only complaint was that the pool shut down at 6 pm and wished we could have done some night swimming.

Communication was a little difficult. They communicate with What's App for everything and do not follow up after sending any sort of message. The Concierge is a young girl who will do everything to prove you wrong...waited over an hour twice to get a taxi when we were off the hotel site and was told it was on it's way. For an all inclusive, I would have thought they would have taken our bags to our room when we got there, but no. Check-In was a little difficult as the girl at the front was a little lost on what to do, witnessed other people check-in and get welcome drinks...we got to carry our bags and try to find our room. Same thing for check-out, got a call telling us our taxi was waiting...yet were never told when transportation was coming.

The hotel, staff and food were all excellent. I’ve never stayed at an all inclusive where the food was this good. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The air conditioning was amazing!

The resort is new and still working out some kinks. That said it is beautiful and aside from them seeing to not want to give out extra towels the staff is amazing! The location while beautiful is a bit remote and the excursions are quite over priced. The Covid testing was a mess. So please try to plan that in advance if you can or research the rapid options at the airport.
