First, I want to say that the treatment itself was good once I got inside of the spa. But before that, the experience was odd. When I arrived at the hotel, I entered the door where I could see the light on. A man came out and I told him I was going to the spa. He asked me to sit in one of the two chairs in the area while he entered a closed door. The small waiting area didn't feel like a hotel lobby as there was no front desk or person, no signs for the spa, and no heat. A few minutes later, a woman came out and told me the spa was getting ready and asked me if I wanted room temperature water or cold water. I said it was quite cold there so I would take room temperature. She brought me water and said someone would take me to the waiting area upstairs which would be warmer. Another man came out a minute later and took me upstairs. After we got upstairs, he asked me to sit at the sole chair in the elevator bank area, and he entered a closed door marked "Spa" to see if they were ready for me. A minute later he came out and said they would be with me shortly. A second later a staff brought me inside to a sitting area, with a few coffee tables and chairs with no other customers there. It was bright and peaceful and finally felt like a spa. Everyone politely greeted me as they passed by. My esthetician turned out to be very good. There was water and tea, but no bubbly as indicated as part of this package. There were some flutes there but no bubbly in sight nor anyone offered. I didn't think I should ask. This was my first experience that I had to wait in the cold outside of a spa. My conclusion was that if hotel guests come to the spa, they probably would have known where it is as it's marked on the elevator button, and they would have come from inside the warm building. For a non hotel guest to come here, they would have to wait in the cold "lobby" alone not knowing where the spa is or what's happening behind closed doors.

I appreciated the staff, they were very friendly and nice. The massage was overall ok, but the masseur was a bit rough and didn't respond to my feedback saying less pressure. It was one of the most expensive 60 minute massages I've had and I don't feel it was worth it. The valet service was a nice touch
