The Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel is a 12-storey building in the city's bustling commercial district. Liverpool's waterfront, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is opposite, and includes the famous Royal Liver Building.

Some of Liverpool's most famous attractions are nearby. The Museum of Liverpool, rich with the city's fascinating past, is less than a 10-minute walk away, while The Royal Albert dock, which is home to Tate Liverpool -- renowned for its world-class contemporary art -- and the Merseyside Maritime Museum, are both less than 15 minutes' walk away. From there you can walk on to find The Beatles Story, a museum dedicated to the band, and the Wheel of Liverpool, a Ferris wheel that gives views of the Mersey. There are plenty of places to eat and drink around there, too.

At the hotel you can sit and take in views of Liverpool's dynamic skyline with a drink at the Vue Bar and Terrace or grab a bite to eat at the hotel's Vista Restaurant.

All rooms have wall-mounted motifs of Liverpool attractions, and Superior rooms are larger than Standard rooms and have added toiletries.

The hotel upgraded us to a privilege room, it was a very large room with stunning views over the river Mersey. We really enjoyed our stay here, all the staff are super friendly. The breakfast was delicious with nice choices of hot and cold food. We would certainly stay here again.

Hotel a bit dated but clean and friendly staff. Our room door wouldn't lock after we had unpacked so had to move rooms. Sorted it fairly quickly and then gave us complementary parking for our troubles. Friendly staff

We arrived on a wet and overcast day our train had been badly delayed but we were warmly greeted in a bright but atmospherically empty reception area. Our check in was well managed and your representative was very polite and informative. Our room was stunning (1015) and overlooked the Pier Head and Mersey and the view from our window was spectacular with the 'Liver' building almost next door and in full view. The facilities in the room were a little disappointing, no bath or biscuits and the bath towels had seen better days, this did not however detract from a very good stay at a very reasonable rate. The Hotel was fairly quiet and some items again were not available for breakfast but again the standard and choice was good. All in all we had an excellent visit to Liverpool and would highly recommend a stay at the Mercure especially if you have a room overlooking the Mersey. Alan & Kate
