Trier is the oldest city in Germany and home to an impressive eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including some of the best-preserved Roman ruins in Europe, such the Porta Nigra gate, which is 30 minutes on foot from the property. You'll also find plenty of quirky boutiques and hip quayside bars in this university town.
The hotel's large spa features saunas, steam rooms and a small gym, as well as a sun terrace, which serves hot drinks and fresh fruit. The restaurant serves local seasonal dishes and has a bright and airy conservatory, plus outdoor seating. You can also sample a range of beers and Moselle wines in the vinotheque.
The hotel's contemporary rooms are arranged across the historic manor house or modern extension. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the park and swan lake, and all feature free Wi-Fi.
